October 2005
Date: 10/3/05 - Perry Highway (in front of McDonald's) - Dispatched to a car accident with possible entrapment. 297 Engine 2 responded while all other units stayed at the Fire Prevention Night. Scene cleared and Engine 2 returned.
Date: 10/4/05 - 109 Frankfort Ave. - 297 and 253 dispatched to an unknown type of fire in the area of Frankfort Ave. Open burn located at 109 Frankfort. The fire was extinguished by residence and all units put back into service by C-1.
Date: 10/5/05 - 638 Center Ave. - 297 units dispatched to a dryer smoking at the Laundromat. Dryer taken out of service and left for the owner to take care of.
Date: 10/7/05 - West View Police Station - Smell of gasoline outside of the police station. Truck 3 arrived on scene reporting a minor gas spill. Oil dry used to contain the spill.
Date: 10/12/05 - 87 Brightwood Ave. - Engine 1 dispatched to a CO alarm. House checked with meter and nothing was found. Determined to be a faulty detector.
Date: 10/17/05 - Rear of St. Luke's Church - Dispatched to a brush fire in the rear of the church. Police on scene reporting a small brush fire, growing rapidly. Engine 1 arrived on scene and extinguished the fire with a trash line.
Date: 10/22/05 - 17 North Park Rd. - Brush fire behind 17 North Park Rd. Engine 1 arrived on scene with a small brush fire behind the house, cause by dumped ashes from a fireplace. Fire extinguished by Engine 1 crew with the trash line.
Date: 10/22/05 - Rochester Rd. and Evergreen Heights - Dispatched to a pole on fire. 297 unites blocked off road awaiting power company.
Date: 10/26/05 - Windsor Place, 1 Windsor Way - All 297 units dispatched  to assist Ross. Nothing found and units returned in service as per 252 C-2.
Date: 10/31/05 - Center and Perry Hwy. - 2 vehicle MVC, t-bone type. 1 victim was entrapped upon arrival. Rescue 40 and Medic 43 extricated the patient. Engine 1 crew, C-1 and C-31 controlled fluids, fire hazard, and disconnected the battery.
