and Ross West View EMS to smoke inside the
structure. Engine 1 and Truck 3 arrived on scene
with smoke on the 2nd floor. Investigation found
smoke coming from a fan motor on the 2nd floor.
Smoke vented and units cleared by 252 C-2. |

View Park Drive - Fire Alarm activation. Fire
panel blew out from a lightning strike. System was
in failure. Alarm company notified to fix system. |

Engine 1 investigated to find a branch on the high
tension lines. Duquesne Light notified. |

between Fairview and Orlando - Dispatched to
truck on fire. Truck was fully involved upon
arrival. Fire extinguished by crews on scene. |

Shack - Automatic fire alarm. C-1 investigated
and found the alarm was accidentally set off by
employee. Units returned |

and found alarm in trouble. Alarm system reset and

investigated and found fire alarm off on the 7th
floor. Alarm was reset and units cleared. |

Chalfonte Ave. - Smell of natural gas inside the
residence, Stove found leaking gas. Doors and
windows opened and stove disconnected. |

Schwitter Ave. - Physical rescue, patient fell
off of deck and entrapped. Engine 2 crew, along with
Ross/West View EMS extricated patient and units were
cleared. |

Schwitter Ave. - Automatic Fire Alarm inside the
structure. Nothing found. |
| Date: 8/30/05 - 215 Perry
Hwy. - Live wires down across the roadway.
Engine 1 and Engine 2 crews stood by for traffic
control, until police and fire police arrived. Truck
3 and Air 4 put back into service. Wires cut and
tied off on the side of the road. Duquesne Light
notified. |
| Date: 8/31/05 - 398 Perry
Hwy. - Automatic fire alarm sounding off inside
the building. Nothing found and alarm reset. Units
returned by C-1. |
