Date: 3/2/07 -  40 Center Ave. - 297 units dispatched to water backing up in the basement. 297 Captain 1 arrived on scene with about 10 inches of water in the basement. 297 Air continued in and pumped the water from the basement.
Date: 3/2/07 -  40 Center Ave. - 297 units dispatched to a smell of sewage in the basement. 297 Air continued in and handled with the Chief.
Date: 3/4/07 -  233 Ridgewood Ave. - Dispatched to a strong odor of natural gas on the second floor of the apartment complex. 297 crews arrived on scene and investigated with meter. Upon investigation crews found source of gas coming from a stove because of a pilot light being out. Crews evacuated the gas from the structure.
Date: 3/4/07 -  808 West View Park Dr. - Dispatched to an elevator emergency in the West View High Rise. 297 Engine 2 diverted from previous call and 249 dispatched also. Patient extricated from elevator and crews returned into service.
Date: 3/4/07 -  Perry Hwy. between Horseshoe Bend and W.V.Water - Dispatched to a vehicle over the hillside with Ross/West View EMS. Units arrived on scene and extricated patient. EMS transported while 297 Engine 1 crew stabilized the vehicle awaiting tow. Vehicle towed and units returned.
Date: 3/9/07 -  46 Wentworth Ave. - General fire alarm activation. Proper code was received by the alarm company. 297 Chief continued in to investigate and all other units were held on station. Confirmed false activation.
Date: 3/10/07 -  513 Perry Hwy. - Dispatched to a smoke detector activation at the Eckerd Drug. Alarm company made contact with store. Persons on scene stated floor cleaners set off the alarm. 297 Asst. 2 continued in to confirm. All units held on station.
Date: 3/24/07 -  Crosscreek Ct. Ave. - Dispatched to a vehicle leaking fuel. All units responded non-emergency. Crews contained fuel and returned into service.
Date: 3/25/07 -  15 Fairview Ave. - Dispatched to an odor of natural gas outside the residents. 297 Engine 1 arrived on scene and investigated while Engine 2 and Truck 3 stood by at their apparatus. Crews found a small puddle of gasoline and contained with oil dry. All units returned.
Date: 3/26/07 -  808 West View Park Dr. - All 297 units dispatched to an elevator emergency with one person entrapped. Units arrived on scene and secured elevator. Afterwards they extricated occupant. Elevator taken out of service and repair person notified.
Date: 3/26/07 -  808 West View Park Dr. - All 297 units dispatched to a second elevator emergency. Units arrived on scene, finding repair person working on the elevator. All units returned into service.
Date: 3/30/07 -  1029 West View Park Dr. - Dispatched to an odor of something burning in the rear of Giant Eagle with smoke showing. 297 units arrived and investigated, finding a bad heater. Heater taken out of service and manager of the store notified. All units returned.
